We spent the 4th with some new friends. BBQ and about $1000 worth of fireworks, how can you go wrong? The neighborhood had a friendly fireworks competition which added to the excitement.
The next day, we went to my father-in-law’s place in the country. We had a fish fry and family get together which was great. The bad news was that his wife fell off of a ladder and got a compound fracture in her arm. Since my father-in-law is in a wheelchair with MS, she could not take care of him like she used to and now he is in a nursing home.
