Here is he, one among many
Who cares? None, if not any
“Come to me,” says the voice in his head
“leave this world of misery and dread
Come within yourself and leave all of your fears
No more will you shed those tears
Come with me to a place deep within
Where never again you worry of sin
Come to inner peace, only yourself to hug
What’s the difference, no one ever gave you love?”
Finally he listens and enters a world of bliss
Where ignorance is in abundance and the real world is just a hiss
He fought it for years but lost the bout
Insanity takes over the, the victor no doubt

Random Poem: Insignificant
Random Poem: Forgetful
Here is another one I found going through some old boxes.
I forgot to forget
A reminder of the love
you once gave.
Sometimes I think
you are still alive.
But when I realize you’re not
why did I survive?
You did not want to be
thrust in the ground.
So you were burnt
in your favorite gown.
It came so soon
how quickly you were gone.
Sometimes I think
I can’t go on.
I’m forever indebted
for giving me breath.
How abrupt and awesome
is this thing called death.

Found this sifting through some of my old stuff.
Reverie
Last night late, this dream came up
About two red fish going around in a cup
One going fast, the other going slow
Neither had any place to go
They went round and round, until I woke
The entire time neither spoke
Two nights now, two nights in a row
I dreamed of the fish with nowhere to go
This night though, they were at the same pace
The smaller fish had a beautiful face
They went around in the same way
Still with not a word to say
Three nights now, three nights in a row
I dreamed of the fish with nowhere to go
This time though they uttered some words
I said “Speak up”, they could hardly be heard
They repeated “why do you look so concerned?
This is the doom that we have earned.
We go round and round, and we’ll do it again
Hoping for a visit, from our new friend”
It’s the forth night now, and I have one wish
That I dream of my friends, the ill-fated fish
